Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, and raised in Orlando, Florida, Katie Capps knew that she wanted to create movies ever since she watched “The Avengers.”

Katie grew up creating short films with friends and is now in her senior year at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Her favorite genres to write for are horror and comedy, since both genres use similar pacing when it comes to balancing emotions. She has written three full features, a TV pilot, along with numerous short-form content-like comedy sketches and short films.
